The overall goal is to develop a cost-effective method for surveying and monitoring cultural heritage sites on a regional and national scale. In particular we aim at developing:

• Semi-automatic detection of grave mounds in airborne laser scanning data.
• Semi-automatic detection of hunting systems and iron extraction sites in airborne laser scanning data.
• Semi-automatic detection of levelled grave mounds in agricultural land from optical images (airborne or very high resolution satellite imagery).
• A web portal for running the semi-automatic methods on new datasets.
