The net surplus for 2012 was 3.5 million NOK and income from operations was 1.4 million NOK. The financial position of NR is good with equity of 67.4 million NOK and an equity ratio of 72 %.

A large number of projects were carried out at the Norwegian Computing Center (NR) in 2012. Industry and commerce financed 40 % of NR’s projects, while the Research Council of Norway contributed with 37 %, the public sector provided 12 %, and international projects financed 11%.
