How would you like to be able to use a computer with just your brain?

This field is called Brain-Computer Interaction (BCI), and it’s an important assistive technology for people that are “locked in” and cannot communicate otherwise.

On Monday, 23 March, there will be a workshop at NR entitled “Current and future applications of non-invasive and invasive BCIs.” The workshop is held in cooperation with g.tec, an Austrian company that makes devices that can interpret signals from the brain and translate them to actions on a computer or other devices.

The whole-day workshop offers a chance to learn about different hardware, software, and methods for using BCI. During the afternoon session will participants have the opportunity to try out BCI themselves. Space is limited.
